Filling in the branches
filed under: about the site
So not many new posts recently, but I’ve been working a little behind the scenes. I’ve added a much needed Archive page that lists post categories as well as titles by date. There’s also a link on the home page at the bottom of the recent posts to point there.
I’ve also added more to the Resources page:
Music in the Life of a Believer is kind of a basis for a site like this. It gives a few test cases on how some famous people have used music for things other than itself, and then goes into some more philisophical and theological thoughts on how music reflects the truth of God, written for a class taught by Reggie Kidd.
“Voice” in the Psalms is a paper about the use of qol (translated as voice most of the time) in the Psalms. There are three main players: God, man and creation, and I attempt to look at what they are saying to each other, written for a class taught by David M. Howard.
The use of “Rest” in Hebrews takes a look at how the author of Hebrews combines the idea of land and Sabbath, of personal and eschatological in writing about rest, written for a class taught by Simon Kistemaker.
That’s just a little of what’s been going on around here at gregwillson.com. I’m attempting to keep on the main idea of this site, where theology and the arts meet.
