About this album:
I played guitar in the northernness when I was living in Gainesville, Florida. We played around town and had the chance to record this EP. I was honored to play with Ben Hofer, the principal songwriter and lead vocalist/guitarist. He's an amazing writer and has a voice that is unique and accessible (a hard to find combination!). Sometimes his voice reminds me of David Gray, sometimes Cat Stevens, sometimes Glen Hassard, but it's never derivative. It was not a fun day to have to part ways after moving down to Orlando, but the band is still alive and well without me. These songs are definitely worth your time- not because I'm on it, but because they are beautifully crafted. Visit their official site.
